Biography

Chuck De Haan is a sculptor and oil painter of present day cowboys in a traditional style. He has been interested in art since childhood. Self-taught at a young age, De Haan has also worked with horses for most of his life. During his rodeo career, he rode his first bull at age thirteen, and later specialized in bronc riding. He has done artwork for many Western magazine and catalog covers, and even headed up his own advertising agency for twelve years.As an accomplished rodeo rider, rancher, and cutting horse trainer, this multifaceted man has successfully intertwined the threads of art and ranching throughout much of his adult life. Following an unswerving dedication to excellence, Chuck has achieved a well-deserved reputation for artistic skill among his contemporaries in the arts, as well as with the many collectors who own his posters, prints and paintings.
