World Gallery, in business since 1976, is one of the largest western
art galleries in the Southern California area.
We carry a wide variety of western and
wildlife artwork, including originals, limited edition prints and
bronze sculpture.
For over 20 years, owners Floyd and
Helen Jones have brought culture to San Diego with their Art World
Western Heritage Gallery in El Cajon. Literally thousands of outstanding
paintings, sculptures and other works of art have been introduced
into thousands of resident's homes, all around the country.
Art World represents top publishers
from around the country and the most sought after artists, including
Olaf Wieghorst, Howard Terpning, Mark Martensen, Frank McCarthy, G.
Harvey, Martin Grelle, Bev Doolittle, Terry Redlin and many more.
Our wonderful custom framing department has a huge selection of moulding
and mat colors to choose from, and our quality is unsurpassed. |
It has always been the goal of the gallery
to provide our clients with every piece of knowledge possible in purchasing
artwork. We strive to make sure that people understand what they are
buying and what may or may not be a good investment, if that is the
intention of the client.
Some of the artists featured at the
gallery are up and coming, or soon to become, top artists. One of
these artists is Mark Martensen, who paints the working cowboy and
the Native American with a lot of emotion and excitement. His pallet
is very colorful and his images and concepts are intriguing. Mark's
original oils have sold from $1,500 to $45,000. His goal is to become
a member of the Cowboy Artists of America, and one of the top western
artists in America.
Art World is also considering some goals
of our own, including expanding the gallery so that we will be able
to offer many more originals by more of the artists in demand. Art
World strives to offer our clients everything possible to satisfy
the needs of their individual art collections.
